How to get started with Voicemaker?
By registering, you can use our free plan with 100 conversions per week. For full access to our features and voices, you will need to purchase our Basic, Premium, or Business plan. For more information about our platform, please refer to our Help Center docs.
Will my subscription auto-renew?
Yes. Auto-pay is enabled by default for Credit and Debit card payments. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle so your access is never interrupted. You can disable auto-pay at any time from your Account → Subscription settings page.

Note: Auto-pay is not available for PayPal or RazorPay payments. If you use these methods, you will need to renew your plan manually each billing cycle.
How do I disable auto-pay?
Go to your Account → Subscription page and toggle off the Auto-Pay option. The change takes effect immediately. Your current plan will remain active until the end of the billing period, after which it will not renew automatically. If you need assistance, please contact our support team.
How can I cancel my subscription?
Since subscriptions are managed through auto-pay, the easiest way to prevent future charges is to disable auto-pay from your Account → Subscription settings page. Your plan will remain active through the end of the current billing period with no penalty. For PayPal or RazorPay users, no action is needed - your plan expires naturally at the end of its duration and does not renew automatically.
Do you count text characters based on Converts or Downloads?
We count text characters based on Converts, not downloads. Every time you click “Convert to Speech”, we count the characters currently in the input box.

Note: Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) characters are each billed as two characters due to the additional processing they require.
With 500,000 text characters, how many hours of TTS voiceovers can I create?
500,000 text characters are equivalent to approximately 9 to 10 hours of text-to-speech audio generation. The exact duration may vary slightly depending on the voice, language, and speaking speed selected. Learn more about credit usage per voice model.
Can I upgrade my plan from Basic to Premium or Business?
Yes. If your usage is under 10,000 text characters and you switch to a Premium or Business plan within 48 hours of your initial purchase, we will automatically subtract the cost of your Basic plan and apply that amount as credit toward your new plan.
What technologies are used in Voicemaker's Text-to-Speech?
Our Text-to-Speech models are built using neural network-based technologies such as XTTS2, FastSpeech2, and a combination of open-source and proprietary libraries. These are fine-tuned and seamlessly integrated into our unique Voice Architecture and advanced Vocoders, ensuring ultra-realistic, natural-sounding speech synthesis.
Do you have a Developer API?
Yes! Voicemaker offers a full REST API for developers who want to integrate text-to-speech (TTS), speech-to-speech (STS) and speech-to-text (STT) directly into their apps, workflows, or pipelines. Currently, we offer APIs through a standalone developer platform with pay-as-you-go pricing.

Do you really offer unlimited text-to-speech conversions?
No, Offering a truly unlimited converts is impossible from a technological point of view. Generating natural-sounding speech requires significant CPU and GPU resources to run our AI models. All plans include a monthly text character limit. For very high-volume needs, please contact us about a custom enterprise plan.
What happens when my plan expires?
After your plan expires, access to all paid features will be stop and any remaining unused characters will be cleared. They do not carry over to the next billing cycle. To continue, go to your Subscription page and purchase a new plan. If you have auto-pay enabled, your plan will renew automatically without any action needed.
Can I get a refund?
We offer refunds for first-time purchases only, provided your request is submitted within 5 days of your initial purchase date. Refunds are not available for renewals or plan upgrades.

The refund amount depends on how many text characters you have used:
0 characters used — Full refund, no deductions.
1 – 50,000 characters — deduction of $2 as a usage fee.
50,001 – 100,000 characters — deduction of $4 as a usage fee.
100,001 – 150,000 characters — deduction of $6 as a usage fee.
150,001 – 200,000 characters — deduction of $8 as a usage fee.
Above 200,000 characters — No refund applicable.

Who owns the copyright for text-to-speech audio?
You do. By subscribing to any of our paid plans, you retain full copyright ownership of all voice audio you generate using Voicemaker, forever, with no restrictions. You can use it commercially across YouTube, podcasts, ads, courses, and any other content you create.
Can I use Voicemaker's AI voices for my YouTube videos?
Yes! Audio generated using Voicemaker's AI voices can be freely used in your YouTube videos and other content platforms. As a subscriber, you own full rights to all audio you create.
Which languages are supported by Voicemaker?
We currently support 140+ languages worldwide, including English (US, UK, AU, IN, Welsh), Spanish (Castilian, Mexican, US), German, Dutch, Danish, French, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Italian, Icelandic, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (European & Brazilian), Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Korean, Norwegian, Romanian, Indonesian, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, and many more. What forms of payment are accepted by Voicemaker?
We accept all major Credit and Debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club. Card payments are securely processed through Stripe. We also support PayPal for international users, and RazorPay for users in India (which accepts UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, and online bank transfers).
Do you offer custom plans?
Yes, we offer customized enterprise plans for businesses and high-volume content creators. Please send an email to [email protected] and our team will be happy to help.
What audio formats does Voicemaker support?
Voicemaker supports MP3, OGG (up to 192 kbps), WAV (16-bit PCM, 48kHz), OPUS, AAC, and Telephony (8kHz). You can select your preferred format before converting. MP3 is recommended for most use cases due to its smaller file size, while WAV is ideal for professional production workflows that require lossless audio quality.
Is my text data private? Do you use it to train your AI models?
Your privacy is important to us. We do not use your input text or generated audio to train our AI models. Your data is processed solely for the purpose of generating your requested audio output and is not shared with third parties.

Can I get an invoice or receipt for my purchase?
Yes. A payment receipt is automatically sent to your registered email address after every successful purchase. You can also download your receipt anytime from Subscription page.
